Default My first big step, i'm going to patch my Comag (Aldi) box today

(I thought this a good first step, before i start buying receivers etc..)

It could all end in Tears

So here's another daft question from moi,

I've read the this http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...ic,6023.0.html & downloaded the zip files etc

What i need to know is, is there somewhere i get up to date keys? (Not really sure what that means )

Thanks again for your patience folks

Hi encblue,

Do you have the Tevion receiver from Aldi? If so, by following the instructions you should be OK.

As far as keys are concerned, google 'satellite keys.'

Good luck.

As i suspected, not entirely worked

I've followed the step by step instructions, everything seemed to be ok.

Where i'm struggling is, after selecting my language menu, nothing happens when i type in 2580
& i don't have the Key Editor option in the installation menu

Can anyone offer any suggestion or advice?

Hi encblue,

I have checked and the Key Editor does not appear until you have successfully keyed in '2580,' and received the message ' Cas Enabled'

Do you have a 'Tools' menu?

If you look at 'Information' does it read anything like this:-

H/W VERSION A4AA100A110A3E

S/W VERSION DVBS CMG-0.1.4.41

Date UCS ENABLED
