Sorry to emphasize the point but I already have a Phoenix Apollo MC + CI when you say multicrypt works with digitalb does it work on this box as well.

Hi pengwyn, welcome to the forum.
I don't have too much experience with this receiver, and the compatibility between receivers with built-in encryption support and certain cards (and CAMs come to that) isn't guaranteed - especially if you're running a patch or other unofficial firmware. Unless anyone else here can confirm a working relationship between your specific box and card you'll have to try it and see. The good thing is that you have a CI slot, so the addition of an official Conax CAM will almost certainly work if the firmware doesn't cut it. CAMs are around £40 if you shop around. STICK
