I know, it sounds crazy but I am stuck. No, seriously! On one hand, my better half want me to create 'virtual satellite' by changing TM9100 firmware and stream to TV in bedroom. On other hand, she doesn't allow me to touch the receiver 'coz it'll take me several days to hack it and she can't survive without it.
I have another receiver (Conrad/Eurosky/Lasat/whatever), which is now connected to second TV, so I told her that I can connect it to the main TV. But now kids are protesting - they want Jetix and Cartoon Networks! In short, I am left with a very little choice: 1. Find way to patch the bloody Conrad crapceiver OR 2. Buy another TM9100 and sell Conrad (do you think it worths more than tenner?) OR 3. Just say "to hell with the satellites" and do nothing. What shall I do? >

Nah... Russians never follow the easy path
We create problems for ourselves and then make heroic efforts to overcome it! ![]() So I decided to check if I could patch the Conrad. From what I found on the web, this is the same receiver as: Eurosky: STB 2005 AC3 Silverline Globe: SL 2005 LS Hirschman: 20 CSR S, CSR 30 Lorenzen: SL DVB-S30/31 SKT SDR 301/302 Universum: DSR 440, DSR 451/452/455/456/4510/4512 (not sure which one, but they all look the same) Zapmaster NG-S/NG-SL Teamaster Polin DR8 and probably a dozen of other names/brands... Up until recently there was Yahoo group dedicated to Zapmaster firmware but now it is gone. Does anyone know what can I do about this receiver apart from using it as pure FTA thing? I hate to throw away working devices. |

Thanks for links
![]() I registered an account there now, but the firmware seems to be for NG-PVR only. I asked if it can work with NG-SCI but my German is rubbish and hopefully I won't be kicked out
