Canal+ Championship Time
Next week marks the return of France’s League 1 championship soccer season, and from August 4, Canal+ Group subscribers can enjoy every match. The Canal+, Canal+ Sport and Foot+ channels will offer exclusive coverage of the entire championship series, starting with three first-day match-ups to be broadcast live and in full: Strasbourg vs. Marseille, Le Mans vs. Metz and, at 9:00 pm on Canal+, Lyon vs. Auxerre.
Two shows devoted to League 1 soccer will be making their return to the airwaves as well: Jour de Foot, now in its 16th year, will offer a daily recap of goals and highlights and will provide analyses of the day’s championship events, while Les Spécialistes , shown on Monday nights, will take a look back at all the weekend matches.
