Interested in the 9100.
Ive only got a 1500CI, successfully using a diablo/Trex for decoding. Tried a Mutant 200 but no USB makes it less attractive and difficult to update/store images. Is the 9100 like the DB or is it totally differant? What about HD, have you considered the Kathrein? Off the subject i know but im interested in your views. |

I've no interest in HD whatsoever my friend.
![]() With regards to the TM9100 its a complete pain in the arse as there isn't what i would call a stable image available for it yet. I wouldn't recommend one as a main box but as one that is only occasionally used like mine in the bedroom they're not to bad. Functionality is about the same as the Dreambox although it is held back by memory limitations, it also doesn't have a usb port although it does have an SDcard slot which you can run Iboot on which works in a similar way to the Dreamboxes Flashwizard on USB. Installing new firmware takes forever unlike the 2 mins for the Dreambox. Its an inferior box, i'd go for a Dreambox 500 if your looking at a cheaper linux type receiver ![]() ![]() Nano
