Howdy.

Got an ART card a few months back and didn't want to activate it until the start of the season.
Stuck it into the card reader on my TM 1600 tonight and "bu99er", it came up with "invalid smart card".
Left it there for 15 mins ( waiting for it to be activated ) and zilch. :?

Switched the box on and off and waited and waited

Tried it in the Dreambox and still nothing

(not sure if I had to do anything to the DM software to see if it would be recognised so didn't pursue).
Back to the Technomate for another go.
Decided to put it into my dragon cam (pred 354) and bingo, activated right away. :

Just wondering what it was looking for?
