Are you sure you're pointed at 28.2E?

Try 12523 H 27500, this isn't duplicated on 19E so if you can pick up something like Movies4Men off their, then you are at least pointed at the right satellite

After working on a new mount for 12 hours, nonstop, raining every 30 minutes, I am finally on eurobird1. I'm serious, the dish is NOT receiving signal from astra1 anymore. I had to put the dish holder to the other side of the chimney. I removed the dish and put it behind the chimney, so the wind wont blow it away. I didn't remove it's parts. It started raining, I picked my tools and run inside the house, not to get wet. I forgot to put the LNB in a safe place. The dish (with the LNB in it's place) was upside down. Some water could get into the LNB. Now I'm receiving signal at the minimum, but at least I'm receiving signal from 28.2E and 28.5E. Is my LNB dead or I have to wait some time for the water to evaporate?

It could take a long time to dry out with the coax still connected, but I can't imagine much (if any) water got into the LNB itself. The LNB proper is in a sealed enclosure inside the plastic housing, and not much would have got in through the F connector I wouldn't have thought.

The water had time to go into the LNB and it has 4 holes. I am using only one. The highest signal that i can get from transponder 12523,H,27500 is 26%, but I can watch channels. Not all.

The signal seems to be raising up a little. Since Saturday the signal went from 29& to 63%, but other transponders are better (88%).

Not all transponders will be the same, so expect some fairly significant differences.

If you use either Progdvb or Altdvb you should be able to scan the whole satellite not just one transponder. Get the strongest signal you can using fastsatfinder then run your usual dvb program

The channel (Chart Show TV) I watch is on transponder 11426,V,27500. The signal strength is very weak, just 65%. Can I find it on an other transponder, with higher signal?

I disconnected the cable from skystar and connected it to my tv receiver. The signal strength is 68%, but on skystar the max is only 64%. Why are differences?

Receivers all measure signal % in different ways so dont worry about any differences. Also with a signal strength of 60%+ you should get a picture ok unless it is hissing down.
