Default The best fake Dreambox?

I reckon nearly all the Dreamboxes on ebay come from suppliers here:-

_http://www.alibaba.com/trade/search?Type=&year=&month=&location=&keyword=&Searc hText=digital+satellite+receiver+linux&Country=&In dexArea=product_en&CatId=0&srchLocation=&srchYearM onth=

As one just sold on fraudbay for £122 had 13 bids, am I also right to reckon there must be loads of them in use?

But do they work well? (I know Dreambox say they don't but they would say that)

And how man use a fake one & don't even know it?

Should I even be asking this question? (Maybe, if you knew the prices some of these guys are willing to drop one at your door for!.)

(the Mid-Lothian fraudbay supplier couldn't string one intelligible sentence together in two emails I received from him/her/it)

& finally if I have done something I shouldn't have..............I blame curiosity

There is also Envision 500S box sold by Wizard. Very similar to DM500S

I imagine most of the fakes come from a single source. Dream have pictures of them on their site, and a guide on how to recognise them, so they must all look similar inside at least.

There must be loads in circulation. They work quite well by all accounts, but I wouldn't buy one.
