sorry to be a pain but the provider is the 16 digit key according to my box. I'm just confused. Here is a screenshot of the menu after choosing Nagravision. I hope it helps. Btw, I didn't enter the 'FF FF FF', it was like that my default. This is the part especially where I'm confused.

Yes, I can see why it's confusing now!

On your receiver, where it says 'provider', it should say 'key', and 'ID' must be the Provider ID as it's the only other field large enough.

ok, so am I supposed to keep the last two digits as 'F' because I can't change them to blank, or do I put them to 0 or perhaps the first 2 'F's as 0? thanks again.

The first two digits will be 0, as FF = 255 in decimal.

From your picture it looks as though your key list is completely blank, which is going to be a pain to repopulate. You can either do it by hand, which might take ages, or download the latest software from the Phoenix website and load that into the receiver. That should give you all the latest keys. Premier is definitely open with that firmware and seems to be auto-updating with each key change. Alternatively you could upload the 'Openbox' firmware which is a complete alternative. It does pretty much the same thing but apparantly is more widely supported. You can track down Openbox firmware by doing a Google search. To do either of these things you'll need a PC with a serial port and a null modem cable .

I hope this helps.

i entered the latest key for MTV Networks on 19 E under ViaAccess. The receiver recognised that I had entered the key for MTV Networks as it had MTV Network written at the top as soon as I finished entering the key, but when I go to the channels, all the MTV channels seem to be locked. Is there something that I haven't done? Which channels should be unlocked with the MTVNetworks key? thanks.

I can confirm that provider ID is for MTVNetworks on 19°E, and it doesn't appear to have been updated for a long time. Either it doesn't work anymore of you have entered it incorrectly.

i checked it and i did enter the hex keys correctly. It is 1 line of hex keys for MTVNetworks on Viaccess with index '08'.

I also tried BBC Prime 00A000 through Viaccess on 13East which was 3 lines of hex keys? Are these amount of lines correct? Thanks.
