I also tried Polsat with the latest keys, same problem. Here's an image of how I've done it with the Premiere keys. Have I done it correctly? I triple checked the keys.

Thanks!

[EDIT] Sorry, you cannot post ANY key-related info here - not part-keys, fake-keys or edited-keys.

Please don't post any more items with this information included. It will get both you and us in a lot of trouble.

yeah i realised that afterwards, but I did the same thing for Polsat, Premiere, BBC Prime and the same problem occurs. Once I've saved the key, is there anything else that I have to do such as restart the box or anything that I might have missed?

A reboot wouldn't hurt.

I don't know the Phoenix Apollo, so I can't help with specifics. Concentrate on something like BBC Prime where the key hasn't changed for ages as a start point.

still not working with BBC Prime. Anyway, I guess I'll just have to do without decrypting channels

I guess you need someone who has one to describe exactly how to go about it.

Is there not a keyfile loader for this box?

Does anyone know?

The easiest thing to do is just load the latest software from the Phoenix website. This will populate many of the required keys. Then manually enter any out-of-date keys from one of the forums that report the latest key changes, or upload the latest softcam. That takes out much of the hassle and guesswork. Premiere is definitetly supported (and with auto update). From what I can recall I've never had much luck with BBC Prime though.

Hi, I do intend to connect my box to my PC and unlock channels like that, but first I wanted to actually see if the patch works. Is it actually possible that these keys which I have tried for numerous packages (latest keys from softcam file) including Premiere, BBC Prime, Polsat and some others are not working because it has to be done by connecting it to my PC?

I'm going to go and buy a null modem cable. Could you please tell me what software I need? Is it the 'All Updater' program from the Phoenix website? and is there any other software that I need? I think I saw the instructions in one of the threads. Thanks.

No, it should work without resorting to this - at least for the vast majority of channels. Connecting to the PC as a go-between is normally only required when the keys are changed rapidly, like in the case of TPS.

The point about loading fresh firmware already containing keys (or a new keyfile) is that it will demonstrate exactly how you need to enter them on-screen if you subsequently decide to punch them in manually as they change in the future.

ok I've got my null modem c@ble and I'm now ready to load the SoftCam.key file into my receiver, but of course I have no clue how to do this. Can someone please give me instructions on how to do it step-by-step. I don't want to mess up my receiver After its done, should the keys all be filled in when I go to the hidden menu? Thanks for your help.
