Howdy.
I'm coming down to England's green and pleasant land next week for a few days holiday. ![]() We're going to stay with some family, jist ootside Leicester. Going to visit Alton Towers one day, and been looking about to see what else we can do to entertain the wee yin. She loves all things connected to space and had a wee look on the NSC's website. Looks cool. Anybody been, and is it worth a visit? She's 8 yrs old, and last took her to the planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre (not counting a wee visit to the local birds of prey centre). She loved that. Is it an all day shot or just a few hours? Regards

If you like trains normally Id recommend a ride on the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth, but it got severly damaged in the floods in June and only has a short bit of track atm, but you could try the Great Central at Loughboro instead.
