hi
I have always found slot 1 best for skystar.and try to make sure no modem or vid card is to near as it can cause over heating of skystar.

My card is showed in the networks tab in device manager. Is that good? It is in the second slot. If I put it in the first one, it could overheat the video card.

Can you post a screen shot of the device properties?

For some strange reason, you have to delete the previous installation for the SS2 or it does not update properly.
