any body has epercience how to get gamma work in (embedded) Dreambox 500

hallo everybody, I have dreambox 500s :,,in the coming few days i will receive my Gamma Card, but was reading around that nobody untill now let know that dreambox with embedded cam with Cccam or other emu.

anybody any idea how to get auto updat or get a picture thorugh the embedded cam.

What image do you have installed on the Dreambox? Which emu's?

I've been told that programmable cards run a lot hotter than 'official' cards, and that it's advisable to run them in a real cam in a CI slot otherwise you can damage the internal card reader(s).

Not sure how true this is, but it sounded good to me.

thanks alot for reply, Gemini 3.40 installed with many emu. Cccam 2.0.3, Mgcamd1.24,Gbox but just read that some poeple got nova (original card) with Scam working, so i hope there will be a solution otherwise i have to buy another receiver with CI,, and that is gonna cost another 100euro extra.

The 500 has limited memory, so I would only download two emu's at any one time, deleting one before adding a third.

Most of those emulators should work, or as you say, you can try SCAM, Evocamd, Newcamd or any number of other emus.

Don't write it off before you've even tried it!

I don't know if your Gamma will Auto Update - you may well have to load new files if and when new keys are released or nanocode changed.
