Maybe.

Personally I would go for the tried and trusted Moteck SG2100A, available for the same price - but not from Maplins!

eBay regularly have them listed for under £50 inc P&P.

Those type of mounts have been known to bend and snap at the elbow

Stick with some T&K's, probably only be around £20 and they'll be much stronger than the mount pictured above

The kits are generally pants in at least one respect.

These are all good components for general hobby use.

Motor: Item# 220135804844

Brackets: Item# 250085844764

Dish: Item# 230115010643

LNB: Item# 130139562784

Cable: Item# 110031302882

I'm not suggesting you buy it all from different places, because the postage would be too high, but this is the sort of kit you want to get started.

It's one of the best 90cm dishes available IMO, regardless of what it looks like.

It's top quality and it's big brother is on my shopping list

It would hold up to the wind fine, but be warned they are a git to get them to sit perfectly upright for a motor

Best go for a T & K bracket mate if your going motorised

Went to a store in Ashton today

£350 for dish, mount, motor, cabling, lnb - £200 of that was fitting costs

Then I was told it'd tale 4-5hrs work +++feel someones telling porkies, to justify his costs.
