re: computer networking. cat5e or cat6 is a good idea. i have recently upgraded my home network to gigabit, even though there's only two things upstairs and two things downstairs that want it. it's worth it, but you won't get 10x the performance. i get maybe 2.5x performance. if that means 28megabytes per second instead of 11megabytes per second then it's worth it for me. video files are big. all my equipment is old. look at where your bottleneck is. anything on a wire is better than wireless, IMHO. wireless is always slower than a wire...

Radiation from wifi is upto 100 times stronger than the radiation you would receive if standing next to a mobile phone mast, wifi is not aloud in schools in some European country's, but in England we are fluding schools with wifi.
Ozone coming from coppers and laser printers can cause allergic reactions in some people, but any ozone in the lowere atmosphere is bad news, ozone is a poisons gas, it kills just about everything, thats why is used at water treatment plants.

I'm curious about this, do you have any web links e.t.c.? Thanks ![]() Also back on topic, ethernet provides much better upgrade prospects than Wi-Fi too, CAT6 IIRC supports up to 10Gigabit. You just need to alter the hardware on either side, and boom - its working.

Can't we just fit photocopiers with a very long exhaust pipe?

I agree cable network is far more reliable than wifi.
As for the wifi radiation it was on a documentary last month but I'm not sure what program it was. It could have been dispatches but I'm not 100% it was very interesting, some people are so electro sensitive to anything emitting radio or micro waves it makes their life a living hell.
