Hi i have just patched my sl65/12 from maplins everything went ok, when set booted up again i found that i had lost quite a few satellites from the list and also the audible tuning aid using the 1 key doesnt work anymore has anyone else experienced this? :? and also i can input the keycodes with the remote but the other options ie provider and encryption type confuse me a bit any advice appreciated.

Hi malc. Welcome to the forum.

Our resident SL65-owning moderator is away on hols, but some of our other members may be able to help you. We have several SL65 patchers here.

Yes,I patched mine last week and found that the audible tone has disappeared when you press the 1 button.You will also notice that when you turn the set on it says "on" whereas before it would say "strg"(starting) and at switch off it now just says "off" rather than "stnby"(standby).
