i remember these as i was about 10 when my mum/dad got it installed was some good channels, screensport, galaxy channel etc

can they be modded and used for channels on astra 1 like them other flat plate antennas ?

35 quid plus a tenner postage. Ouch

It would work - just about - as its set up for circular polarity you would get a horrible amount of loss on it. I think Nano had one working for a while - the details are in the rerto section

If I remember, you used to turn the little grub screw to alter the frequency, to allow the telecom band in.
