The information is usually available from your receiver, some have an information button on the remote.
If you would please post which receiver you have we will be able to give a more detailed answer.
You could use sites like lyngsat & flysat which have channel information for most satellites.

Thanks Mickha, I tried Wildsat but they didn't cover all the channels on Astra so will try the others, I've got a Pace 1.0

With respect "sugarbabe"

"FLYSAT" indicates that TCM UK is on 12188H, 27500 and UK Gold is on 11817V, 27500/

Thanks guys, I was referring to Wildsat BlackHawk, although they put the frequencies for the add on channels they just list Sky channels numerically without frequencies. Tried Flysat but couldn't get the frequencies up, will try later.
Surely if you're watching for instance TCM you should be able to press services and get the actual frequency of the channel you're watching? The only frequency that comes up is 11.778 V 27.500 2/3 whatever channel you're watching.

If all you want are S*y's frequencies you should have tried lyngsat and packages:

On the lyngsat home page look for the packages listings and choose one of the 4 areas the satellite lies at, and then choose the package you're looking for.
It is very useful for big packages like D+, Premiere, Digi TV, TPS, etc...
