I want to set my new dish initially to true south. What angle do i need to add/subtract from my magnetic south? I live in manchester at:
Latitude = 53.4348, Longitude = -2.2750 I have tried www.satsig.net and that suggests a azimuth of 181.2(magnetic) but on http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/seg/geomag/...alcDeclination this suggests 3degrees thanks |

Your magnetic variation is around three and a half degrees - the same (and in the same direction) as the chap who started this thread.
