Hi i patched my satcatcher 2 then open boxed it but used wrong one used 820 i think i should have used 800 cant flash or download too it any more and its not working do a Scan on a sat and it dosent see any Chanel's any help please or have i got my self a paper weight

Don't know anything about the particular box; but one technique that sometimes work with other receivers is to try and load the proper version -- 800 as you say.

Hopefully, the experts will come along with further suggestions soon.

Ive tryed patching it back also 800 it wont let me download into it.I think ive got a paper waight.Thanks for your help.

Most receivers have a factory reset procedure which will get you back to a boot position so that you can reflash. Have a search for the reset options. May be something like unplug and then hold one of the buttons as you plug back in.
