There may be, but I'm not au fait with the SL65 keyfile format. I'm sure you could write a simple macro in UltraEdit or something if there isn't.
.bin files are not normally ASCII text format? :? Please don't post examples on the forum though. We've already had keys posted once today ![]()

There may be a checksum in the file that you've missed, or you may have used notepad which fails to preserve the CR's properly. Grab yourself a copy of UltaEdit. There are warez versions about. It's a massive tool.
Wordpad does a better job than notepad, but it's not foolproof and it clearly doesn't have anything like the editing power. There is also a softcam editor in our Utilities section which does some de-duplication and validation AFAIK.

Same story here - if any other than "recommended by Yorks" file is used, the receiver just resetting itself.
Maybe it is using some kind of different format? |

The method clearly works, so there's a very good chance that it's the data which is causing the problem. The conversion utility (now posted here) works well on the face of it, though I haven't tested the output file with CAPi.
Premiere and Digital+ are open on 19.2E, so why not try making minimal changes to the file that Yorks has indicated to update these two keys (assuming you can find them - Premiere shouldn't be too hard, but that's assuming that the SL65 can handle the MECM fix - i.e. was working two weeks ago) and see what happens. It can't be much more than a checksum it it does fail. Maybe you could try using the above utility to convert the original keyfile to a softcam file and then back again (without any changes) to see if the conversion works.

![]() The file thing is a bit odd. Sounds like the format might indeed be non-'standard'. If you could get two files from the same source and with very close dates, you could run a file-compare to show up what else other than the key needs changing. If you haven't got the tools to do this, point me at some material and I'll have a quick play.
