Egyptian private broadcaster Dream TV launches its third channel this week.

Dream Sports, the third channel from Egyptian businessman Ahmad Bahgat, is about to launch on NileSat. Dream 1 was launched back in 2000, and was an immediate consumer success. Dream 1 offered variety shows, movies and discussion programming. Dream 2 offered more of the same, but with some sport in the mix. That has now been extended with a dedicated sports channel.

Dream has taken extra space, including Studio 15, at the giant Media Production City just outside Cairo.
