Hi there,

Complete novice with FTA! (pre-warning

I've got satellite dish outside, which I presume still works...used to be linked up to sky, though this was about 8 years ago so I guess we'll soon find out!

Basically I'm wanting to receive FTA channels and any HD content such as BBC HD, this is a must so I want a card capable of receiving HD which i understand is broadcast on ?DVB-S?

I've got an AMD5000+, 1GB RAM, External graphics (can't remember what it is)..would this be capable of handling HD?

Can someone advise me on the best card to get? Of what I gather, the TechniSat Skystar HD card seems to be alright?
