Default Free Footie n Sports Online?

I've heard that you can watch free footie and some other sports online by following procedure in link below though apparently it only currently works with I.E. Haven't checked it out so don't know how true.

Requires a dodgy-looking plugin/embedded player 'Sopcast' to be installed - beware. I wouldn't try it.

Thanks BGS

Will give it wide berth; quite happy with what is currently available on the TM ATM anyway.

I've used this before and, TBH, it was a pain in the arse It's one of them Chinese streaming applications and it's general unreliability finally pushed me into taking the satellite route for footie.

Their were a few different applications, whose names escape me, of which Sopcast was one. As expected, picture quality was poor, and it was always at least 2min's behind real time due to the seemingly endless buffering. And, if it was a big game you were trying to watch it was virtually impossible to get a connection And if you did eventually manage it you'd be lucky if it lasted more than a couple of minutes. Altogether very frustrating >

Suppose it's OK as a last resort, but thats about it IMHO :?
