Default second hand dreambox 7000/7020/7025

whats the price you would say for one of these second hand as been monitoring ebay for one but they always go for nearly the price of a new one which is silly

is there that much demand for them ?

as a new 7020 is about 290 cheapest i've seen, any cheaper let me know and some have been going for 220 quid

as i'm unhappy with my current one 9100 as it ****e basically and i want one of the proper boxes

thanks

wod

As you know the 7000 isnt made any more, one sold on ebay last week for about £180, not a bad price.

They do tend to keep there price as there highly sort after boxes.

My DB is the best receiver I have ever owned

And the one that ive kicked and punched the most! ops:

If you can afford it, go for a new one, you wont be disappointed

I've watched two or three go for around £170 - £190 with no disk. One went BIN for that price a while back.

As they hold their price so well, if you bought a new one there would be no risk of it losing it's value overnight. You could buy a new 7020 for £300, keep it for a couple of years and still sell it for £200.

Not that you would ever want to sell it

The 7025 and 8000 use Enigma 2,

Where as all the other Dream`s use Enigma 1 :?

The delay regarding the 8000, is said to be the HD chip set`s, but there are various rumors going around :?

The 7025 certainly uses Enigma 2. I expect the mythical 8000 will use Enigma 3? :?h

Enigma 2 was created for the new chipset and has less support.
