Most of the channels on your first list are on both, but a couple are only on 19.2E

Depends what you're after. Just different really. Less German, more French. LOL, Eutelsat and SES would be slapping their foreheads at such a description :

my dish is about 1. 2 meters and my receiver is technomat tm 7755 2va 2cl I think Im on astra 19 degrees e Im not motorized or anything do you think I could find hotbird ? if so what degree is it and what channel should I get on ( at the 19 degree site ) that would also pick up something on hot bird. I think years ago I used to swop between them but I ve forgotten all the tricks thanks for any advice |

I ve got a 1.2 meter dish a technomate tm 7755 2va 2cl receiver I think Im on 19 degrees east at present what do I do to get on hotbird ? I ve no motor or anything. is there any channel I can tune to at 19 that will then pick up the hotbird ? thanks for any info |

You can pick up both Asta 1, 19.2E and Hotbird 13E, by changing your LNB to a 6 degree monoblock, or buy another LNB, bracket and diseq switch, for the same results, this will provide you with a lot more viewing options.

thanks, I ve just got to turn the dish about 3 degrees to the west from my present position
but is there any specific channel on 19 that I should be on that will also be a channel on hotbird so it will pick up ? Once Im on hotbird Ill prob hav e to do a scan to get into all the programmes |
