I sometimes watch the channel zdf theatre
they often have old pop programmes on from the 60s
and 70s
But its hit and miss
I go to the tv schedules at 300 but
they are the schedules of zdf the main channel

Is there any way to find out the zdf theatre schdules ?

Maybe theres a mag pub in UK or something

there is listings in your sat box now and next for the zdf theater, i think the german hit parade is on the afternoon and jools holland is on tonight, you have got to look, then you will find them

You will find the daily tv listings for ZDF theatre Kanal on page 495 of ZDF's teletext service.
Also,as already mentioned ZDF theatre Kanal has 3 day listings guide on the epg.
What satellite receiver,are you using,maybe someone can point out,how to use the epg guide,if you aren't sure of how to use it.

I should have come to ask you guys months ago

I went to page 495 and bingo !

I think theres a pop prog on at 3 30pm today sat and at 4 45 pm
nice to know that at last !!

I went on to zdf and saw a foxy German actress
can t think of her name

It looked like a hospital soap Swarzwaldklinik or something

It must be on at 1 pm saturday , must check it out next week ( wonder if its on or repeated in the week ? )

Pity there s not somewhere that discusses these matters and gives heads up of programmes coming on ( the pop progs on zdf theatre etc }
say a running thread that would send out e mail notification

I ll check out those web sites later ( the teletext is a pain though the germans have got it right for most channels its 300

I could never figure out why sky, with all their dosh don t have a web site dedicated to tv schedules maybe with a search, maybe with e mail notification when ( one of your favourite celebs ) is on. you could type in a list of celebs etc

I get sky news ZDF ZDF theatre
cnn euro news pro sieben super rtl vox das erste ocko kto kabel eines plus kika arte

and tons more.


It would be great to have a heads up thread and a thread that discussed the programmes and recommended upcoming programmes etc is there one already ?

If not I may try and start one

Remember that Germany is an hour in front of us, so if it says 2200, that would be 9pm our time not 10pm

are nt all those channels on hotbird too?
