Thats half the battle if you have a good meter, try and post more details up of what the meter is.

Does it identify what sat your on etc?

Is your new dish being installed in the same place as your 60cm?

The original set up was..... 60CM dish, LNB, Technomate 1500CI+.... this was used on Hotbird to give me ART sports.

I now want Eutelsat 16'E so I am using the same set-up.

First I used the 60CM dish, where I was able to pick up anything from Astra 23'E - Hotbird 13'E, but NOT Eutelsat (no signal at all for it).

So, I switched the dish for a 100cm dish, thinking this would cure the problem. But with the 100cm dish i cannot find a signal for ANY satellite.

The meter I am using detects specific satellites.

All i can tell you about the meter is that is fairly large, about 10 inches in length and 6 inches wide.

It sits in a velcro case and has a recharable battery (which takes about 12 hours to recharge).

There is an LCD display at the top of the meter and about 5 large round buttons on the front. I think the buttons are, Menu, Up, Down, On and Off.

HTH?

Is your dish mounted on a motor or are you just moving it by hand?

The 100 cm dish may have a different offset than the 60 cm dish. If so, the elevation will need to be adjusted up or down. If the arm was supplied with the dish then it will be the correct length.

I have tried to account for this.... seems a bit odd that i'm not picking anything at all up on the 100cm dish..

Any chance of uploading a photo of you're dish set up?

This might give us a bit more of an idea of what's going on m8

There is a tree..... but would that only effect my 100cm dish (or Eutelsat on both dishes)?

I will get a photo of my situation up ASAP....
