Ok, this is the 60cm dish on the side of my house.... where I can pick up pretty much everything except Eutelsat....

(but get nothing with the 100cm dish???)

PS. I know the lead is currently disconnected from the LNB

There is a house opposite the dish, but that is not in the way of any of the birds that I'm trying to get.......

This is the only thing that could be in the way.... a tree.

The photo is taken with me standing in front of my LNB....

But that don't explain why the 60cm dish get most birds and the 100cm dish gets nothing....does it?

The trees are not a problem, neither is next doors house, as it would block the signal on the 60cm.

So the 1m is going exactly in the same place as the 60cm?

It may be an optical illusion, but that pic seems to show the dish leaning back too far. It may need tilting forward a smidgeon.

maybe the transponder you are using in the meter foe 16E is dead, hence it wont give a reading.

Try one of the other stronger birds like 19 & 13E 1st

Yes, try changing transponder like crossbones says . Something like 11092 V 32000 (DigitAlb) should be OK. If it still doesn't work then this is all I can think of (and my brain hurts ):

If it works OK with the 60cm (apart from 16E) then we can assume that the receiver, cable and LNB are all OK. That only really leaves either the dish alignment, or a fault with the dish.

I would be surprised if it was the latter, although I would double check that the LNB arm is fitted correctly, and that there is no sign of warping to the dish face.

That only leaves alignment. As Jimdefruit says, it does look to be leaning back a bit in the photo but that could just be the angle of the pic. I would tilt the dish face so that it was more or less pointed straight ahead, connect the sat finder and SLOWLY move the dish from left to right. If you get nothing, edge it up VERY SLIGHTLY and try again. Keep trying this until, hopefully, you manage to pick something up. This will take plenty of patience but , if it works, will be well worth it

If that doesn't sort it then I'm foobared if I know

Kev
