I think on a patched Technomate it is the green button to access the portal channels, just keep trying buttons eventually you should access something
Don't forget to change the audio settings to German 2 for English audio.

For the Premier Sport Portal, scan 11720 and 11758 H; the results should be a series of channels with no proper names but Labelled along the lines 'TV 1 (etc) Astra 11720 (or 11758)'; among this will be the sport stations.

Ok managed to find the premier channels and get English audio. I now have some other questions I would like clarifying:

1. I can receive many channels on Astra 19 east but there are also lots that I cant. These channels have a very good signal but just black screen, why is this? Is it because I need a patch for that channel or another reason?

2. Are there patches for individual channels available that can be added along with the patch that I already have or is there just one available? For example I cannot receive Canal+ channels so is there a patch available for these that would allow me to still watch all my other patched channels?

3. I can change the audio language to English on some channels but is there a way to change the epg guide as well?

4. The main satellites I am picking up at the moment are astra 19 and eutelsat 16 east. Are there any decent channels on onther satellites that are worth me realigning the dish and scanning for?

1). The main packages open on 19.2E are Premiere and D+. (key changes for D+ 3 times a day). The other packages are not open, so without an official subscription you won't get them.

2). If you have the latest patch and have latest softcam then all keys for available packages will be up to date. If you can't get it, it's not available. (Canal + is not open)

3). I'm afraid these foreign TV companies don't like us enough to give us an English epg. (They don't really like us having the channels either)

4). There are other packages available. Main ones are TPS and Polsat atm on 13E, DMC on 15W, TV Cabo and D+* on 30W (*as on 19.2E). But unless you are tracking the arc accurately you won't get them all.

Even if you are mainly watching 19.2e atm, you need to be lined up properly - otherwise you may as well have a static dish.

How can I find the digital + channels tho, there is noting listed under that name, are they stored as tv... etc or something?

Also how can I change the key for these channels on TM1500?

Updating keys is slightly different in each Cam and patched receiver:
Below is Echelons guide to updating keys in a technomate, once you get the hang of it you'll be surprised how easy it is:
d+ key entry
Press mute then exit when you are on a D+ channel
It will show you
Nagravision
Digital+(4001) Ohaladin

Indent
10 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **
11 ** ** ** ** ** ** ** **

add keys , exit and save

reboot the box

or

Press mute then exit when you are on a D+ channel
Once you are on the blank cas page, change from "OFF" to "NAGRA".
Go to the next line and put in the ident "40 01".
On the next line input "10" and use the down key to move to the key position and use numbers 1-9 and "info" button for the letters to enter the new key.
Press down again to go to the next line, enter "11", down again for the key input and enter it.
Once complete press "exit" button, save changes.
Exit to blank screen. Change channel and back again, wait a couple of seconds

Keys 00 = 10 & 11, and key 01 = 20 & 21 on the technomate.
