For music fans ..
has anyone tuned into Rockpalast sat nites on WDR ?? (think its astra 19*E )
the programs vary. some sat nites its documentrys .. but over the last ten yrs ive watched A-Z of famous pop names. & got lots on fading VHS tape! sometimes the programs start early .. maybee 11.30 our time ( remember they are +1 hour in Germany) .. the normal run time is around 1pm our time .. & can go on till 5.30am zzz showing loads of bands. get the EPG or text up & look under p300 ( most German tv guides are on p300 ) .. & look down the list to see whos on. there was also a great radio show Sunday nites at 7pm our time on radio Sputnik (MDR) .. where the uk DJ played A-Z of top dance / hip hop music on a regular basis in english .. some great mixes .. but i think the prog has stopped. the text was on p 320 i thinkk ... look under p300 / radio.
.. whhhhat? .. uve already been there ..!! damm.

there were quite a few stations that played some good late nite concerts .. inc BR Alfa - WDR - ZDF - 3SAT - MDR - SWR - etc .. but WDR was the most regular for popular & oldies. oh yes .. & a German version of the uk TOTP,s .. think it was called Hit Parade .. that was different. not sure if they are still running it. cant remember what ch.

pppps .. nearlt forgot .. anyone watched Space nite on BR Alfa ??? nearly everynite after Bob Ross ... can get boring after the 1st 12mnths of viewing .. hi hi .. just joking.

Found Peter Steiner again - it's on Heimatcanal on 19.2E and just as funny and corny as before. They sell DVDs galore so it must have quite a following.
