HI
Great posts guys. Really useful if your new like me.
Can I query something in GCOS's comments. "but after telling the unit that you are using USALS, hit the 'enter' button here (not 'exit'). This brings up the menu where you input the new satellite longitude position ,and your own previously entered lat and long already appear here" I'm struggling to see where I enter the new satellite longitude position. The rest is straightforward. OR am I missing something.
Thanks
MQ

I tried to get Turksat, couldn't get my dish far enough east as it clashed with the shed! got 11% quality on this one I think 60cm was not big enough for this one and as for 16E! no chance, it wasn't pre-programmed in my receiver and I now need to learn how to enter satellites, allas my instructions were hard to follow, I will post on the SL65 section for advice. Getting Hotbird was easy so I thought......yeh this is a doddle!

Thanks guys, I was about to ask how you did this and I see that there is info to help me with this.
My box was purchased on 2005 and the instructions were squirreled! by the wife, so I down loaded them and they are hard to follow. I got to the stage where I entered the sat I needed but at the time I got the impression that it was already in the box and I only needed to enter the name! WRONG! I've only been using this set up for 28.2 and only ventured to another sat last week and now I need to do some learning.
Where do I find the details to enter a new sat?

Thanks

Cheers for this, but can someone explain what this is and where do you get TP and Symbol information,

TP on Intelsat 10-02/Spot 3 at 1°W - use 12687 in this instance

Cheers
