Astra 2C is reported to have FINALLY reached 28.2E (6 years late!)

She should be lit up any day now - watch this space for more news

Why has it taken so long for 2C to join the rest of the party at 28e?

Its been running German analogues only for months. What a waste of a good bird - it could have been running more shopping channels for us! :roflmao:

I should think so. Its owned by Eutelsat, it has nothing to do wit SES Astra as far as i know :?

Cant see Astra telling them to bugger off to be honest

Sir, would this mean that Eurobird channels 28.5 could be moved back to 28,2 or to Astra C ? I am having problems receiving Eurobird 28.5 channels. Also what other channels will be moved to Astra C? Or is it too early to tell.

Its MOST unlikely any channels will move off EB1 at 28.5E. This is new capacity at the 28E slot, not replacement capacity.
