Yes get the 1.5m dish. All the better if its motorised. Add a technomate or vantage receiver, even more channels available to you then

Buy a Sky+ receiver.

Put a second cable feed in

Ring sky on either a uk mobile or withold your number and ask them to pair the card with the new box.

DONT let on you are abroad!

Last time i rang sky i was on there for 10 minuets before i even spoke to anyone. The whole call lasted about 30 mins

30 mins at 50p is a bit much for me, but then again i'm a tight git

I am already set up with the duel feed,
I gota freesat card withe the sky+box i brought.
Is it so simple just make a call, i have a uk address aswell.
can they pair the box even without a telephone line.
Are they gona need uk credit card details etc.

dont worry about phone costs, i use skype voip services, or my sister could call;

If you want to use the record facilities the card will need pairing. No phone line needed for this.

If you want to subscribe you will need to give your uk address & have the card sent there.

Be careful using credit cards to subscribe - you CANNOT cancel the continuous credit authority - the organisation you are paying to has to do it!

all i need to do is pair the card to the box?
I do not need to subcribe, i do not need to pay them any money?
I can then use my sky+ box for recording?

Unless they have changed the rules recently, the tight fisted gits at Sky make you subscribe or pay them £10 a month to use Sky+ or they disable the receiver so that the Sky+ facility can't be used. You could always ask to confirm this when you ring them to do the pairing.
