Default truth about watching scramble channels

i am about to buy some hardwares and the guy told me lots of stuff regarding watching loads of sat. channels free, but i am not sure if this is true or he is just looking for a quick sale.

spec:
TECHNOMATE (patched) 7655 2VA VIACCESS MOTORISED SYSTEM 80cm DISH & 0.2 db DIGITAL LNB.
TM-7655 has got 2x VIACCESS card slots allows 2 different card in the same time.
The top slots can be used as a MULTIKRYPT and the bottom slots can be changed from VIACCESS to IRDETO

Multikrypt to allow the use all type of unofficial cards and official cards like:
VIACCESS (1&2), SECA (1&2), IRDETO (1&2), CONAX, FIRECRYPT, CRYPTOWORKS...etc.

is this true people.........................?

Yes, but that's an old and out-of-date receiver really. Better support is available for boxes like the Technomate TM1xxx series or Vantage VT-X221TS.

You should understand that all the encrypted channels viewable without a valid subscription are likely to go off at any time, though there is usually something worth watching, as well as heaps of legitimately free European TV.
