Well, it's short!
Start the vPlug monitor from the menu of whatever application you're using, then double click the SECA line at the top (or any of the others which you know are open.) Try this on MEZZO on Hotbird and you should see the following if you have the right keyfiles installed.

It is, which is why it's not obvious. There is other stuff open as well, as per Lancelot's first post - but only certain transponders, and a couple of them wouldn't work for me. I wasn't interested in watching it so much as just getting it working.

Further to my earlier post, the only S2 channels I can get working with vplug 1.8.0/SBCL on a Dreambox 7020 are:
-Trace TV 12322 H -Disney Channel 10949 V -TVN (various) 11393 V. Is that as good as it gets? |

To be honest m8, I didn't check every channel, but there are some more - though nothing stunning.
Check the readme for the transponders that are supposed to be open and work your way through them. There were at least two transponders that I couldn't get anything out of. From a personal point of view, I wasn't interested in watching the channels, but far more excited about some SECA 2 being open again. As soon as I had one working, that was it for me. There are later releases of vPlug now (1.8.3?) so check those out too. Yours is clearly working properly. ![]()

I agree, this hobby is a bit like fishing - you catch the fish and then put them back. 5000 channels and nothing to watch.
Anyway, with vplug 1.8.4, SBCL and everything else switched off, this is what I get: 10949 V Cartoon Network CN/TCN CEE Combo Disney Channel Turner Classic Movies 11393 V TVN TVN 24 TVN CNBC Biznes TVN Meteo TVN Siedem TVN Style TVN Turbo 11623 V KBS World 12245 H MEZZO 12380 V <nothing> 12322 H TRACE TV 12595 V CNNi |

Tried vplug v1.8.4 on Thursday night and it kept crashing progdvb every time I changed channels so I binned it and went back to 1.8.2 as its working fine on both progdvb and Altdvb
