Default newbie-No signal

Hi Im new to this, yesterday i bought the Silvercrest Sl 65 from lidl, I set it up using a 80 cm dish rather than the 59cm that came with it. I picked up Astra 28.2E and also Astra19.2E straight away, my problem is that I wanted to get all the FTA UK channels on Astra 28.2 but although i am getting a good signal and im recieving lots of channels above channel 100 iam not recieving the FTA channels between 1 and 99 BBc ITV ect. for these channels no signal appears on the screen, is this a case of doing some fine tunning. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi spikiey, welcome to Satellite Help.

Once your dish is aligned correctly, it's probably more a case of ensuring you have the correct transponders loaded into the receiver. Have a look at http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html to check you have them all.

Hi BGonaSTICK Tanks for the reply I checked transponders and rescanned them anyway, seems OK, but i found the signal strength and quality bars on those FTA channel was changing colour from the normal blue and green to white so i think I will need to play with the dish a little and see what happens.
