Default 16 east in south east what size dish are you getting it on...

this has been an ongoing problem, a clear skyline, getting 13 east 75% quality, i'm on a 90cm dish motorised with technomate super, can't see the full arc but am getting 72% on sirius 5 east and atlantic bird 5 west.

am tracking the arc properly, picking up 60% on rtk on 16 east but not enough for a solid lock, picture pixelates.

can't seem to get no more than 72% on my top sats, 5 w and 5 east, tried usals to nudge, had 3 lnb changes, mti high gain twin, swapped for smart titanium, no increase in quality.
me strongest sats on the arc are astra 19 east, hotbird 13 and astra 28 east.

should i have more signal quality than i'm getting, for this set up in london, digitalb 11.449 comes in at 20% quality with a 92% strength.

i've heard of people getting digitalb with an 80cm dish, so somewhere i've got something quite not right, if i can get more quality on 5 west or 5 east, would this help 16 east..

any thoughts, thanks in advance..

Chav, for some reason I found that I had to tilt the dish up a whisker to improve the 16E signal. It might be worth a try in your case.

think you need to tweak the dish elevation as that doesn't sound right for 90cm dish in south east

you should get 11.449 as i get it fine up in yorkshire on 90cm dish

I am suggesting a teeny weeny bit. It might even improve the other sats.

should i tilt dish at the 16 east position or drive it back to sirius 5 east or 5 west and tilt there.

don't have 1 west as obstruction..

Just move it a fraction on 16E. That is the one you are trying to improve. If you find you get an improvement tighten the bolts and check the other sats are ok.
