Default Central Heating

Just installed my new contral heating system.
Mounted the condensing combi boiler, fitted 7 room radiators and 2 towel radiators and plumbed them all in.
Got the gas line connected and filled the system up. Switched it on and bingo - heat and hot water.
Had them bleedin storage heaters (they were there when I moved here). >
Took me about a week, including a few 12 hour shifts. Worth it though (saved a few grand and racked a load of brownie points up).
Next, mounting the triax 1m dish on a scaffold pole in the garden. The missus can't greet and girn at me noo. :
Got the pole , need some postcrete and a strengthening bracket (which I'm going to make at work next week).
Probably do the install next weekend if weather is ok.
Need a new lnb. Any suggestions?
Great to be back.

Good to have you back. Thought you'd fallen down a deep hole!

Well, you have my admiration. That's no small job

Try the Sharp 0.3dB for around £16, or the Inverto White Tech single (not easy to find in the UK.)

I like the MTi Bluelines. I've had quite good results with them. Even managed to get a sniff of a few of the Vertical transponders off 7w with my Twin one

I've also had good results with the Nordic stuff off 1w and the German stuff off Astra 3a @ 23.5e
