Hi Ok, i have got the system working no its all itailian and arabic stuff porn etc.... i have even bought a compass, set the dish at 28 deg e (I think) - still no UK channels, of course all the boys downstairs are loving the porno - doe'snt do much for me.... how do i get BBC etc.... still using the 35cm minidish, havent tried the black one yet as no mounting - any ideas how to set up a mount? i have no fence posts etc just a yard - the minidish has its own mount (silvercrest) thanks.....

If you go to _http://en.kingofsat.net/ you should be able to identify which satellite you are receiving. It doesn't sound like Astra 28E. If you know the channel name yuo can search for that. It sounds more like Astra 19E or Hotbird 13E.

I dont have a camera, and i still using the 35 cm white jobby... trouble is everytime i try to set up someone comes down.... usually kids!!!! so i never get finished grrrr :spite:

You have a good seven hours of uninterrupted dish-fiddling! :clap:I think that's all you need - just some time to play. The elevation won't need to change much - a few millimetres - so just swing it to the left - imagine you were behind it and pointing it like a gun. When you have it aligned you can start over with the other dish tomorrow night!

Cheers (again) the picture on here of the locations - looks like i am close, once i get it set i am gonna mark it and stick it on the wall!! with superglue
at the mo i am on the low wall by the road. and its not level i have tweaked the LNB, the other LNB (black sky dish has a quad on it - does that mean i can feed 4 recievers????? - now the boys would like that!!! esp if one was on hotbird... is there a way to get premiership footie on these free??? well worth a try to keep em quiet. |

Yes, you can connect four receivers to a quad LNB, but it can only point at one satellite at a time.

Cheers Stick... i have been across the road, where is a new install - low down, the angle is 24Deg east, 56 deg west.... so as you say have to wait till everyones gone beddy byes!!!
