Hi everyone - this is my first ever post so please be patient as I am a little green.
Can anyone tell me what size dish I need to receive the premiere channels on Astra 19E, I am in Valencia, Spain. I have installed a 1.10 metre dish which I was told was big enough & am receiving a very good signal on both Hotbird & Astra 19E, but cannot get any signal on the premiere channels..... can anyone help me please !!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have seen these channels installed on a system in a local distributor's about 6 miles away & they tell me that they are using a 1.00 metre dish - could this be possible ??

I can pick up Premiere channels with a good signal % with 39cm dish but they remain scrambled.

Local knowledge is the best guide as to whether your dish is large enough or not, but you are outside the recognised footprint for many of the Premiere channels.
If you have local knowledge that you can rely on, then concentrate on dish alignment. Fine tuning is everything. If you can't do it yourself then get a professional to help you, but it's not too hard. You will have to be very accurate though. A good LNB/cable and sensitive receiver will also help, but it's mainly down to alignment I would suggest. Check the top two maps here: http://www.satellitehelp.co.uk/forum...ic,4938.0.html
