I have ordered a c-band lnb-f from the usa and am going to make a 60mm lnb holder for the 1.2m andrews for it

,

I will post some pics soon,

If any one has any ideas about making a 60mm lnb holder for the 1.2m andrew channel master feel free to post them here,

I am also on the look out for a standard andrews channel master 40mm lnb holder to mod it to take a 60mm lnb so if any one has a spare one please let me know

Should be interesting to see, I could adapt it for the 1.8m dish too.

Very good. We've had very little C-band chat on the forum here, and I'll be very interested to see what you can receive with it. Making a bracket shouldn't be too hard.

How much does the C-band LNB weigh? Is it heavy?

I'm just wondering if it would be better to have that in the main holder, and the Ku slung next to it? :?

The problem is that the main holder is 40mm and c-band lnbs are 60mm so i have make a holder, Here is the lnb http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=005

Can't you just open the holder up? They're cheap as chips to replace aren't they? Just thinking about different options...

Big feedhorn on that puppy too

Or is that all you need to pick up C-band?

Well it is a volt switching c-band lnb-f for prime focus dishes but people in the USA have been using them on offset dishes the lnbf only cost me £19.00 inc postage so its worth it for a play about,
