I'm so sorry about writing partial kys, i'll never do it again.
I wanted to say 8 digits, 4 bytes. first 2 bytes you can recognize the SID of the provider, the other two maybe are related to the channel/transponder or ??? |

Does the SL65 support 4-byte ProvIDs? And allow them to be displayed/input in the menu system?

This is for the LIDL Silvercrest SL65 latest box - mit M3329C E1 chip and serial flash
Box marked under side with RG405 DS1 This upgrade SL65 M3329CE1+Sflash-AU - works OK Just a few pointers to entering keys - key editor goes to current channel being viewed (eg D+ 1401) Just go to MENU - Installation - Key Editor - Enter Use FAV key to switch between 123 and Hex (A-F ie 1=A ... 6=F) its a bit slow at first. for k*ys 00 use 0/8 to 1/8 (8+8 - 16 total) for k*ys 01 use 2/8 to 3/8 Updated D+ works Ok - Pr*mre works fine and much more When you upgrade - select 'ALL code' - in the RS232 upload menu Start the STB going first - then start the PC loader. Have fun |

its dumb to call a patch AU if u have to enter the keys manually.... isn't it!!!!!!!!!!!.
i'm using another box now there keys updates automaticaly by standing on a special channel on a special transponder on hotbird & i get all the keys updated automatically.... does this patch at least have such updates.... enlighten me if i'm wrong. i have bought the newest E1 chipset silvercrest Sl65 from lidl but nothing of these upgrades seems right.... can anyone please prescribe the steps during the upgrade with rs2323.... i may be doing something wrong throgh that process... regards. |

@BU508A
can you confirm that b i s s provider are ok? It's true that you change the kys in the menu, but you can't touch the provider info. I've been checking the provider 2135 and 21 36 (rai international) but the K are good (6 byte format + last 2 bytes are 00 00), but not clearing ... |

Not sure about B*SS keys - provider list seems fixed.
Auto Update works fine for Prem..re 4101 (19E), but may take a few mins if you switch off STB for a while. seems quicker on Prem..re Start chan. No AU on D+ 0501 (19E) - you still have to edit keys. No luck yet with T+P+S - tried France4 - TP 10873 waited hours. Have service pack for T+P+S - but how to load? Yes - software is unstable (black patches) and restarts. Cycle tel-txt page to get rid of black patches. Keep the info flowing please |
