is there any easier way to update the transponder list on technomate 1500ci as its going to hurt my fingers editing tp lists for sats between 42e and 30west
unfortunately i have the tms 1500 with the slow blind scan so would take 10 years to do it, oh why isn't blind scan standard on all proper sat receivers looks like might be in for a night looking at lygnsat or tell myself why i need a vantage or manhattan xt receiver an option to download the nit table from satellites would have been good if that is ever possible to do wod

Doing it using the channel editor has got to be much easier.

I'm pretty sure there is one for the Techno 1500, downloadable from the official site, or there might be a copy on the forum here. Most people tend only to use it for backups, but I don't know why. Probably because it's rubbish!
Give it a go and let us know how you find it.

There is a TM editor but I have found the ClarkTechEditorStudio (try a Google) is marginally better. Neither is fantastic - what they lack is a good ability to sort the channel data for editing but the ClarkTech one saves some wear and tear on the tendons if you want to have a major sort out. As ever, KEEP A BACK-UP!

Yep, I too favour the Clarktech as you can select several channels at once by holding down the shift key and then cut and paste them all en bloc.
