Default Citylink or Shittylink? Who delivers your computer parts in one piece?

[Split from 'New computer build' thread]

How do you get free postage from Scan?

There are several ways:
1. Join Hexus.net and make 25 useful posts (not about politics or weather ).
2. Write 10 answers for their Knowledge base.
3. Wait for i32 (multiplay) and meet Scan there.

1. Hexus looks pretty good ~ I'm sure I was once an active member :P
2. Done that, but I can' remember my account details & have since changed my e-mail
3. Lol, I went to i30 - do you just go up to Scan and say 'free postage please' ?

I'm going to join Hexus again anyway - thanks

does the scan free lifetime delivery come from initial citylink, or is it actually worth something? 8)

citylink have never managed to deliver a parcel here in a satisfactory condition without some intervention in 15 years. i suppose it's different in other parts of the uk. i suspect if you live close to a city centre, citylink are ok. personally, i don't buy from citylink delivery companies anymore. out here in the wilds, royal mail (not parcelforce), target and dhl work best. maybe i just have a thing about citylink. but they are guaranteed to make my deliveries not work, and i worked for companies that used them for the last seven years.

you know what works in your part of this green and pleasant land. if citylink worked here, i'd buy all my stuff from scan
