Hope this stays for a while. Nice substitute for Cabo (when it goes) for us non-Portuguese speakers.

Watching Animal Planet ATM on 12772H 27500 (English audio) On TM1500 CI Signal fluctuating between 69%-72% on 88cm dish in S. Yorks.

Happy Days

We have never ever had it so good. So many people were moaning and groaning a year or two back about how things would simply come to an end. How wrong they were, and may that level of pessimism never return.

Yep. When I got into this, around about May 2005, everything was either going or gone. Missed Kiosk altogether. Caught last few bits of sly italia and Cyfra+. So I've been feeling rather spoiled since then, as things have steadily come back. One day I may even sit down and watch some of it. .

Hi stick,We have never ever had it so good, this is not quite true.Im not moaning or groaning here @tall,do you remmber snack cards?I do & that was when we never ever had it so good.Today i know im a law unto myself in satellite lol,& i say what i think.I also thank the guys who have opened this up for now,& like others im greatfull. The way i see it today is we are given bits n peaces just to keep our intrest up a bit.True friendship i dont see around the boards like once was.Sorry if im being blunt here,& this is no offece to anyone here. There is no pessimism in my post here its just how i see it.Being one of the older guys in the satellite world, today i just do my own thing.I take each day with a pinch of salt. This is me & i guess we all different in our views.

LOL, I purely meant how many different packages are open, that's all. There are too many people that think the scene owes them respect just because of who they are, but I'm not going there, mainly because I don't care.

'Do you know who I am'!?!?! always gets the response from me... 'No. Should I'? regardless.

That's not to say that I don't have a lot of respect for many many people in this hobby of ours.

If I ever get like that, please shoot me

I agree on this(There are too many people that think the scene owes them respect just because of who they are)Once i worked my guts out on boards but not any more m8.The sat scene owes me nothing & i owe it nothing Once i worked my guts out for sat boards.Today i wont do this, but casting over the years i have given more than most.I ran sections of a board on my own,not like other sections where there is 5 or 6 guys.In the end people were just takeing the p*ss,there was no respect. After a l s a t id had enough of it,that was the last straw for me.I do from time 2 time to look on boards feed sections, thay sure have gone flat since i stoped.Who knows maybe now thay understand how hard work it is.Then there is the hours that go into this.I bet this is why there feed sections dont have so much in them thay sure can not be bothered to do the work since i stoped. So today i put my feet up & do my own thing,no matter whats open I do respect guys in satellite, just a shame some others are not the same. Here is cool & the guys do there own thing,& thats how i am today.
