TVE International's transmissions to Europe cannot be watched anymore through Hispasat (30º West) as the channel has controversially decided to pull out of the Spanish satellite.
The satellite had been distributing the channel free-to-air since 2002. TVE International is now available on Eutelsat's Hot Bird (13º East) and Astra 1L (19.2º East) requiring bigger dishes to receive the channel. TVE International has a presence in the five continents with a potential audience of more than 400 million people. It offers a programming based on Spanish and Latin American cinema, children programmes and old in-house productions. Source: advanced-television
