Good job, well done
![]() Can I just ask: what is the brand of switch you are using as some of us have experienced slight problems with switches e.g. just 3 out of 4 ports working?

Just the Triax switch that came with the LNBs. I'd read somewhere about potentially needing to swap the inputs around to make all four work, but I had no problems. Maybe I just got lucky first time.

Spot on.
There seemed to be a number of places selling this set-up (4 lnbs, holder and switch), but I was impressed that these guys (Dave I think) actually gave me the time of day when it came to getting some advice on set-up. Delivery was next day for an extra couple of quid. Just as another point (and maybe to help anyone else thinking of going the same route). The way that I have this set up at the moment, I only had to chop up one holder (for the centre) and trim the collar on another holder (this still has a full 'circle' of collar just paired down on one side) . I did this first and thought I would try it out before taking the stanley knife to the third holder, once I'd got it rigged up I found no need for any further modifications. Maybe I could get more signal by getting the LNBs closer still, but i don't think I'm going to need to. |
