Hi i have got fta receiver also my old sky box with the old card can get the free channels but not 4 it comes up saying no signal how come i can get BBC1 BBC2 itv also 5 any help please.

OK, first off Channel 4 isn't FTA, it's scrambled (so that could explain that one) and second, it's not on the card either if you're in Ireland. Not sure where you are.

Hi iam in england i mean iam using my sky box with my old card and getting all the free channels but not 4 i now fta you don't get 4 or 5 but iam getting 5 OK on sky but cant get 4 on sky.

Are you getting it ( albiet coming up "scrambled channel" or something) on your FTA box,
and is it connected to the same dish as the -Sky box using a twin LNB?

Hi dont use twin lnb ive got sps1 switch use one lnb and switch between the 2 recivers.One is fta and the outher is sky.

Not wanting to sound mean or big headed, but type slower and more clearly please - its hard to make out what your saying

You have a Sky Box with a 'FTV' card inside it. Is the card blue, with a picture of a house?
You are having problems getting Channel 4, but you are recieving BBC1+2, ITV and, on your Sky Box, 'five'. What other channels are you not receiving, or is it just C4?
What model is your Sky Box?
You switch could be causing a loss of signal, try bypassing the switch with a direct connection.

You did not answer me before.

Can you get a signal for ch4 on your FTA box ( blank screen, but should show signal quality)?

This may help to determine if there is a dish problem or a box problem.

Have you ever had channel 4 or is it a recent problem?

Has the sky box been switched out for several weeks?

Hi yes the box was off for 3 weeks and i can get 4 on fta it comes up scrambled.
