Default DS 3v3 firmware released

h**p://dsteam.cwispy.com/itgate/forum/index.php?showtopic=832

Note: this firmware is based on Technomate v10 firmware, so if you have v09 in flash and using iBoot, its very likely there will be a lots of issues.

I haven't tried it yet as I am waiting for official v10 to be released. Then I'll put it into flash and install DS3v3 on SD card.
Not sure when I'll do it as I am really busy now... but certainly will try. Eventually.

As to UR, Beta2 is working fine for me, no complaints (almost). It seems to be very stable, and the biggest problem I've got is inability to pause recorded video (sounds crazy, isn't it?).

BTW, iboot is a really good software - I have several firmwares on it now. Try it
SD cards cost next to nothing these days, you can pick up 1GB card from Staples for 6.99!

The stability issue is an interesting subject to be honest. It seems that some boxes are more prone to reboots/hangs/whatever and some boxes aren't. For example, uptime on my TM9100 is 21 day (basically is never rebooted since I installed URb4 image. I might try DS image some day in future but I'll wait for official v10 and put that to flash first.

I ran up one problem with the Dreambox version. I keep getting the message that the system is recording when it isn't. I would be interested to hear if that happens on the 9100 version with or without a recorder.
